What makes Auum oil different from fish or flax oil?

Omega’s 3 & 6 are Essential Fatty Acids that our bodies cannot produce. Omega-6 and Omega-3 remain “good fats” as long as they are balanced in our diets. Most of the world’s major health organizations now suggest a ratio of 1 Omega-6 to 1 Omega-3 (1:1).  In the early 1930’s Omega-6 accounted for .2% of our dietary calories, however, today it accounts for 20% of our daily calories. Although flax oil has ALA which can be converted into DHA by our bodies, and fish oil has EPA and DHA which can be converted into DPA by our bodies, they are not biochemically the same.
In addition, Omega-6’s compete for the enzymes necessary to convert ALA into the Omega-3’s utilized by our bodies. High Omega-6 levels therefore interfere with the process. Absorption: How is the Omega-3 in Auum Auum Omega 3 absorbed more fully and rapidly than that from other sources?

The buccal mucosa is a mucous membrane under the tongue and on the floor of the mouth. By making contact with this mucous membrane, Omega-3 and Vitamin D diffuse into an area with a high density of blood vessels. Via a lipid transport system, these vital nutrients quickly enter the sublingual artery, which connects to the lingual artery, then the carotid artery which connects directly to the brain. This ensures that the Omega-3 will only come in contact with the enzymes in saliva prior to entry into the bloodstream.  Otherwise, as much as 60% of a substance can be degraded by enzymes (monamine oxidase) or other digestive enzymes in the Gastro Intestinal track.

The mask may be used as often as your skin type requires. Some clients with especially-sensitive skin may find that a very thin application of Auum Skin Cream prior to application of the mask adds to the gentle effectiveness desired.

Auum Omega 3 Hemp Mask has been a favourite of many clients. In addition to using it in your weekly ritual, as a cleansing and nourishing mask (even overnight), it can be used nightly as a touch-up for skin blemishes, noticeably reducing inflammation by morning.

Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and pat dry with a soft towel. Apply Mask over the entire facial area – avoiding the eyes. Dry Skin: Leave on for 10 minutes. Normal Skin: Leave on for 20 minutes. Oil Skin: Leave on for 30 minutes or more. Rinse off with lukewarm water. Pat dry with a soft towel.
